Phillip Morrison, Seth Vogt @ Eli's Cribb for FPF (8/27)
This week is just about our biggest week yet at Forward Progress Fridays as we welcome upcoming Hallucination Limited artist Phillip Morrison all the way from Philadelphia to grace us with a seldom heard Orlando mix set. Phillip Morrison’s unique blend of deep tech-house and dirty twisted disco has sent him to places far and yonder. The past 5 years has seen this former manager of Balance Promote Group DJ in such notable clubs as Twilo in NYC, and Chrome in Boston as well as gigs in Latin America and Canada. DJing with the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Sean Cusick, Three, and Jimmy Van M.
Joining Phillip on the decks will be opener Colby-Wan, of Reflex Entertainment, for a special progressive birthday set (You can hear Colby-Wan under his alias Cluster, playing DnB on Wednesdays with Läri Blue for Bump tha Hump). Following Colby-Wan will be myself, and then closing the night, returning to FPF will be Seth Vogt (Sunkissed, Teknology). For those of you who haven't heard Seth play FPF yet, he's rocked the house with us 3 times in the past. He's done remixes of tunes by artists such as Andy Ling, Trina, JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, and has done collaborative work with Sam Mollison. He is currently hard at work collaborating with Bill Hamel on a track to be release on the critically acclaimed Bedrock Breaks label.
We have a pretty big Friday in front of us, and it's not one to miss. At Eli's there's never a cover, it's 21 and up, and the sound system rocks like you wouldn't believe!
