Arrow (prog) Madoka - Metamotional EP [Deep Focus]

Genre: Progressive House/Trance
Format: 12"
Label: Deep Focus
Release date: 8 October 2004
Tracklist:
A. Madoka - Metamotional sample
B. Madoka - Inhale sample

A-Side "Metamotional" is somewhat a standart deep prog track focused on lots of pads, subtle melodies and a great, catchy bassline. While it doesn't stand out, I like it a lot, fits my music taste perfectly.

"Inhale" has a boring intro that never ends and also a boring breakdown later presented, but at certain points it has loads of energy thanks to several layers of percussion and a repeating female vocal sample. I don't like very much the way the track is arranged, but it has a *great* vibe and I wonder why it isn't being hyped right now.

This is not an outstanding EP, but it surely is solid and I can see it fitting pretty different recordboxes. Though it appears nobody is playing these tracks?

Inhale is a great track, the beginning is simple because you're meant to mix it in for 3-4 minutes.

Going by the samples, Metamotional sounds excellent.

beautiful stuff. i was listening to 'metamotional' for the first time a couple of days ago, and was, you know, hypnotised by that synth. and then i was analysing it and analysing the structure, and then i started thinking how that track i heard on a LikWit set would go great after it. turns out that track was 'inhale'. so, beautiful, beautiful stuff.
