Technics CDJs query
i've been hunting for a cdj for quite some time now. the pio cdj800's and cdj1000's are quality, although a little harsh on the wallet.
the new technics range of cdjs has recently sparked alot of interest, considering their absoulte authority over the turntable market.
has anyone had the pleasure of testdriving these babies? advice feedback? help us out with the comparisant
cheers

Based on the $$ tag alone vs. what they offer in terms of functionality I'd be steering clear, but I am also very keen to hear any feedback from people who have tried them out as without having had a go, I guess my 'opinion' means shit. Interesting (?!?)

I don't know anything about CDJS, but i thought i would just ask a random question about them. I have Technics 1200s so this is just out of curiosity.
What does everyone think of Denon? Do any pro DJs use them? I just have never heard anyone mention them....

Denon S5000 are the shiznit. Many cool and usable features- ok build quality etc.. For around $1.5k (roughly same as CDJ1000) they rock imo. But still keen to hear news of the technics!

Haven't used the Technics stuff, but the CDJ-1000 we have here is just mint. So easy to mix on it's just not funny! Having never used a CDJ before, my first mix was basically spot on. Heaps easier than using vinyl...

JB sell CDJ's... I didn't know that.
I thought they were a little bit mainstream to sell DJ gear, but if they do that's sweet, cause they are cheap. (and I'm a tight ass )

theres a quicktime .mov floating around that has a quite long comparison [whether it has any relevance to trance music is debatable however] anyways, it shows that the denons are alot better qual than the technics and pioneer efforts.
