If it's anything like the first one, I will be stoked. I think he has gone downhill a bit since POD, but another true mix cd could turn that around. I guess we'll have to wait 6-12 months to find out, as I'm sure he will be producing, remixing and putting the set together again.

yeh i dont know if the name is going to be the same 'TPOD', although i suspect it will be, should be good for the marketing
anyway, the concept will be the same i think, although perhaps it will be recorded in surround sound or something like that.

I think the last actual mix CD he did was the one for the Aug. 2003 Mixmag issue. That mix was mint. No PVD productions at all. Loved every track on it. Anobody else pick that up.

that mix was pretty bad - it was just a giveaway in a magazine though, it wasnt really a proper project like TPOD is, so you cant really compare...

I wasn't comparing it to POD, I was just pointing it out. As long as he makes a mix with none of his productions on it, or atleast the ones he hasn't played to death, I'm good.

The first TPOD is good but I think he should get more creative and do something a little bit different.

i think maybe the concept of the album has escaped you
he takes bunch of tracks and produces them all again
this is why people talk about it as a dj mix / remix album combination. Every track on it has been produced by Paul van Dyk.
