Nubreed is playing a live set at a local club here. I'm sort of on the fence about going. If you have seen them live, can you tell me what you thought? Mistress B. is also here that night, so I'm just trying to pick a party.

Anyone have any recommendations for Nubreed sets?

When are you possibly seeing them? I was thinking about going to see them on the 26th in San Fran, but I'd like to know how they areif you go before, as it's a toss up for me as well,since Zabiela will also be there that week.

They're quality, but it depends on what you're into I suppose. Similar format to the other major Melbourne live act Infusion (i.e. three guys, lots of equipment and a prominent vocalist) but probably less raw and innovative. I'm not a big fan of prog-breaks so I don't get into them as much as much as other people, but even from a chin-stroker's perspective they're a pretty tight, impressive unit.

I guess if you like their productions then you'll like their show, if you don't then they're not going to do much for you live. But I suppose you could have guessed that from the start, eh?
