I'm going down for Deep Dish on November 27, and was wondering if it is worth the extra dough to get the VIP ticket which is 55 bucks... it allows access to the entire club. Is the place big? Does it get extremely crowded? The old Glow was pretty small, and was anticipating alot of people to show for the Deep Dish show... so am i better off getting the VIP ticket? Anything else I should know about FUR? Thanks for the help.

Hi.

Not worth your extra money getting the VIP tix. Its just going to give you access to areas and rooms that you probably wont care about getting into anyway. I have never bought the VIP tix and if i had, i wouldnt have used it. If you're just going to see deep dish and to be in the main room, you are fine with regular entry. VIP gets u in a shorter line getting in too, but if you get there early enough, the line is not that bad anyway. seriously... save your money.

FUR itself is bigger than insomnia, but the main room dancefloor is about the same size. some people claim it seems smaller but i dont think it really is, it just looks that way. its going to be crowded for deep dish; it was crowded this past weekend for ferry, but it wasnt unbearable. I found plenty of room to dance up front with the rest of the TAs and glowboard people. and there was lots of room to dance on the stage in the back.

Its your call if you want to get the VIP tix but i'm telling you, you dont really need it.
