I am looking for cheap auto insurance. I am turning 22 so with my age I know its going to be really expensive. I have G license and planning to insure a 91 Toyota Celica GTS.
Anyone know any good companies? I called up Belair Direct but they want me to fill out an application and mail it to them, and the process can take up to 30 days. I need to get insurance asap.

Here's who I use for everything (car, house, life, etc):
State Farm - Kelly Culin
905-847-0012
I've been dealing with him for 9 years now, claims are quick and painless and he's always gone out of his way to help. Rates are the best I can find (especially for car insurance).
Contents insurance is cheap too.. Call him and get a quote!

One just needs to realize how state farm works:
The agent deals with all pre-sales and post-sales questions NOT CLAIMS.
State Farm has a cliams department with teams of people (adjusters, investigators, CS reps, etc) that deal with claims.
---
I heard some foolio yapping at a watering hole one night about "f'ing state farm agent wasn't the guy who filed my claim, wtf service is that!" and I thought to myself "why should he, it is not a part of his function". State Farm invests HEAVILY on their claims department and agent network and has a quick and effecient system, it works if one lets it.

Presidents Choice (PC Insurance), hands down. They beat my previous company which I hunted for a long time to find by a serious margin. Worth checking out, you can get a free quote on their website.

don't forget to take a quote from RBC...when i was looking for auto insurance and had a new license....Almost evrybody refused to insure plus the quote was extremly high even if i had some previous driving experience...called RBC and to my surprise they were willing to insure plus their quote was lower..

if you are a student, you should ask for your schools group rates.
