Here we go again...

A few posts ago I posted a link to a RA version of my mix. The only comment was that I should post it as MP3 since RA suck. =) So here it is again. This is my very first recorded mix so I'll be very grateful for any comments/suggestions

Cheers!

Downloading right now, thanks for putting up an mp3 version..

the tracklisting looks rad, I just made a mix with some of these songs in it too.. bumblings loons, and Rank 1 - such is life..

I'm interested to hear this. 11k/sec, should be done in a few hours, I'll let you know what I think after lunch.

*edit* now listening. first track rocks, the first mix is good, but the incoming track is a bit quieter than the first. I have this problem too, it always sounds lacking when the outgoing track drops out. I find it's best to give the volume knob a little tweak, as well as bump up the bass a bit on the incoming track when the outgoing ones bassline drops out. Second mix rocks too, as does the 3rd track. I'll post again when the whole thing is done.

*edit2* the mix at 31 minutes in or so sounds pretty rough, sounds like you tried to fix it, and went the wrong way! I do that too, just giving you the feedback you asked for.

Nice mix! I liked it all the way through, very good for a first recording.. a few of the mixes were off every so slightly, but you'll get better. good track selection, pounding all the way through.

thanks for keeping my morning full of trace!

Not a problem. Thank you so much for the feedback and especially the technique suggestions. I was aware about the roughness of the mix between track 5&6 so that didn't exactly come as a surprise. Could you give me the mixes that you think are off ever so slightly? I thought the other ones are at least beatmatched properly, but maybe that's not what you meant?

Anyway, cheers!

They are all pretty damn good except for that one at 31 minutes..

just a slight b-boom or boom-b on some of them, you know what I mean?

nothing you need to worry about.. even tiesto does those every now and again.

Yeah, it's always nice to know that even gods can make mistakes sometimes. Anyway, thanks again for the feedback. I'll head off to the decks to tweak the pitch and EQ for the next mix, hehe.
