Off-side rule impossible to referee

hope that link works. Basically it says that there are too many things that a referee has to watch for the brain to be able to process it all and get off-side right. The rule is vital to football, otherwise you'd get a huge player to stand on the goalkeepers toes and hit the ball long all day, but how can it be better policed?

a similar rule in futsal, where you couldn't score from inside the circle, was damn near impossible to get right, made for a much better game without it, but that rule was nowhere near as vital to the way the game was played. getting ride of the rule just stopped the whinging when it was badly ruled on.

the only way this can be solved is by adding more referees to the game to help out.FIFA seems to be very slow in making any kind of changes though.By the way I think FIFA should put a replay system to review goals.Alot of times the ball goes over the line but because it dosnt hit the net the refs usually think it wasnt a goal.

keep the one referee, add one more linesman on each side would do.

fifa is basically the gayest federation on earth , not only they gave the wc 2010 instead of morocco (omg the bias lol) , but they also refused the usage of cams for referees so they can see if there's an offside or any other fault (like in hockey)

I think the offside decisions have gotten alot better over the last few years... (4-5 years back it was terrible). I agree that video replay could be used to decide goals, but it wouldnt work with offsides.. The attack would already have been halted and the attacking team would have lost any advantage.
