Hi I have just ordred Reason 2.5 and now I am considering to buy a MIDI keyboard.. But the problem is I dont have a clue on wich keyboard to buy Iam a noob when it comes to MIDI keyboards.
I have been looking at different keyboards on the net, but I dont know what excatly I need..
Here are some of the keyboards I have in mind:

Korg MicroControl Usb Midi Controller

Novation Remote 25 USB kontroller

M-Audio Radium 61, USB

It would be great if someone could come with any recommendations, it doesnt have to be any of the keyboards listed above. Price range max 490$

i honestly dont think u need to spend that much on a midi controller
all a midi controller will be doing is basically controlling whatever sounds coming into it..whether that is a computer or some other piece of hardware..so i really dont think u should spend more than half of that..save up that cash for some other parts

I decided on the Evolution 449c. I don't have it yet since I'm getting it for Christmas, but I chose it because it has 49 full size velocity sensitive keys (most are), plenty of knobs, sliders, and buttons.

I was also considering the ReMOTE 25 (too expensive, not enough keys), Korg microKONTROL (too expentives, not enough keys, small keys), and Radium (too "toyish" feeling, Evolution is better for just a little more $$$) keyboards

Yeah 490$is a lot... I just didnt know what I must expect to pay for a decent MIDI keyboard. Do I need extra equipment, like this?? or is that already built in the MIDI keyboard? Btw, thw Evolution 449C seemed quite nice

The amount of keys. 449 = 49 keys, 4 octaves, 461 = 61 keys, 5 octaves and also 4 extra knobs.
