Ghost Smilie Klangzentrum pres. Deep Red - Frozen Roses [Samples]

ok, finally hereīs one of my own productions...started yesterday...
the track will contain 2 mixes: a laid back trance mix and a progressive breaks mix...

first sample is the trance mix:

http://mitglied.lycos.de/klangzentr...oses_trance.mp3 (save target as)

[2.21min @ 192kb/s]

beginning is a bit boring, yet...and mixing is not that well...dont mind that...

-----------------------------------------------------

and hereīs the prog.breaks one:

http://mitglied.lycos.de/klangzentr...oses_breaks.mp3 (save target as)

[0.32min @ 192kb/s]

yeah i know itīs rather short, but it should just give an idea about the track...

feedback is really appreciated, so i can decide where the sample goes...

I personally like the breakbeat mix better, it starts out nice and strong...

On the other hand...

If you got some vocals into the mellow mix, that might be awesome as well...

you've got some cool ideas + the melody sounds very nice. just work on tightening up the beat/percs

Ok it works now. I was trying to dl it with firefox before...IE is useful after all :P

Suggestions:

work on percussion. It doesnt sound very uniform atm. Seems like everything is randomly playing.

Bass is cool but would like to hear subass to go along with it. (would make a cool kinda "playing togehter" effect between the basses)

I like the breaks one more than the Trance one cuz the song doesnt really seem like a trance tune imo.

Keep up the good work,

Manvel-Amurai

thx, manvel...

thereīs a concept for the percs, but because of the huge number of samples it sounds sometimes a bit muddy....thatīs right...perhaps with some eq it worx...
and yeah itīs not really a trance tune...thatīs why a called it a laidback trancer...cant define this genre...
