Okay, I need some suggestions.

I'm looking for some good PS2 games that I can play online against others, kinda like a "Halo 2" for PS2, if that makes sense. I know there are tons of sports games that can be played online, but I'd like a shooter type game. Any suggestions?

Cool, I've just got it up and running, so I'll probably spend a couple of days messing around (yes, acting like a noob) until I get it figured out. Then I'll invite you and we will kill people mercilessly.

Star Wars Battlefront for the PS2, Has online multiplayer suport.

Definitely go for SOCOM 2. Try Killzone too.
