Sasha vs Digweed

OK...is it me, or does Sasha play really boring when he plays alongside Digweed, while when he plays alone, he always blows the house away?

yes, i would disagree.

together they are the ultimate. their styles contrast yet compliment each other so well.

the worst i have seen digweed is wehn he was playing with sasha, and the worst i have seen sasha (and trust me he was awful and even admitted it to someone later) is when playing with digweed.

prefer them both on their own, though im sure they were amazing together at places like twilo.

unless sasha reverts to records/cds, they would never be able to play together now (since sasha uses ableton) - or it would be VERY difficult.

i've never seen them together, but the word is that their renaissance set this year was mostly sasha's work (digweed apparently was fucked and only played about 4 tunes). i can imagine how they would have been amazing back in the twilo days (97-01), but since 01 their styles have diverged dramatically

haha you couldnt be further from the truth. the time i saw sasha and he was shite this is what happened..he played aboiut 4 records and digweed played the rest as sasha was too fucked. digweed is a stauch pro, is all about the music. never seen him wasted, let alone too wasted to play.

as for renasisance, they both played 50/50 pretty much

This is where I was trying to get at. Their styles have changed soooo much that Sasha's upbeat electro sound goes nowhere with Digweeed's deep and dark progressive.

I prefer them on their own. I find that Digweed builds more on his own than with Sasha and Sasha obviously builds his sets a lot more. I have seen them together twice and separate a few times as well. They both have very different styles, but I love both of them. I have been disappointed watching them tag. They get into the bog prog and don't go anywhere with the set.

Mmmm as much as I love seeing them alone....you cant beat that duo!! Sasha is more on the lighter side of things....and Digweed is more on the Darker side....but when they get together its like a whole nother ball game!!! Like eRRaTiK said “their styles contrast yet compliment each other so well.” Man....besides that Renaissance set from this year..which fuckin rocked btw...I have this video from their first Delta Heavy Tour...in Detroit...and its Sasha and Digweed going b2b....its probably my favorite set out there....I would love to share this with you all....as I still cant find a fuckin tracklist for it....and I have posted it in the other forums but no one seems to want it! See deep dark and progressive....OMG getting a hard on just thinking about it ....well PM me if anyone wants this beauty!!!
