i have a pair of mk2's and once i get a record beatmatched it starts to fall out of synch. i ran 2 of the same records and i notice that i have to keep recueing my decks because one starts to fall be hind. how can i get that recalibrated?

if I were you, i wouldn;t mess with them, but go to your local Technics dealers and get them serviced. Rather pay to get it done than make them worse?

They're pretty easy to calibrate, you just need a multimeter and a screwdriver. If you know the pitch fader on one of the decks is bad you can also replace that while you're doing the calibration. Should take you about an hour or so.

or here's an even better solution, adjust the pitch on the one that's falling behind
if the record is falling out of sync, it's not beatmatched

That doesn;t mean that both decks pitch is the exact same.. I know that If I have two of the same record at pitch lock on techs, that one will drift off.. both decks aren't calibrated the same, not many usually are.. you just have to changed the pitch slighty...

i've done that too, the decks probably need to be re-calibrated
it's not worth it unless it's quite noticable though
