Win2K Help

For the IT savvy,

Im wondering how i can clear events in the event viewer older then 6 months. I think its something to do with filters and then clearing them but when i do that i delete them all... o_0

Any ideas what i'd doing wrong???

control panel -> computer management -> event view -> application -> right click -> clear all

Umm NO

SPECIFIC DATES!!!

Example.. i want to clear all the logs up to 3 months ago... but delete the ones before all that????

look under properties. you should be able to figure it out from there. dont make it any more difficult than it has to be
