Which Type of subway seats do you prefer???
The old school padded bench seats or the bus type seats (the red squares)

the bench seats were far more comfy , but the red squares are just more orderly ..

The reason they went with those red seats was that they are harder to vandalize.The comfy bench seats we're getting ripped & torn by kids who have nothing better to do

...if u are gunna take the TTC - take it in style - all though u may not alays have a choice, but agreed that the red seats are less liable to be vandilized!

on the yrt, well on the 99 yonge route, all the buses have padded individual seats...and i only saw 1 that was vandalized.

I like my poll, so im bumping it....

for me its the bench seats, x1000 more comfortable

i like the red squares no matter how hard they are they seem more comffy... i dont like the orange ones only bc they are so old and some just rip and i feel like they are a lot more dirty then the red ones... i could be wrong though considering the red ones are cloth and get more shit stuck to em

ive done the math
a trip from yonge station to v.p. via old bench seat trains ~ 11-13 minutes

due too big slow doors , lower top speed and acceleration due to restictors on the newer "t1" trains ......"yesum i must be bored on teh train"
(numbers could be different during rush hour as more people can get on off faster through the big doors)
