I use cubase in rewire with reason. It always worked properly but last week it started to act/play up. I reinstalled all drivers and programs but nothing seems to solve the problem. My pc is good enough. Mayby i've changed some setting without knowing? Anyone an id.
Thanks

have u checked if "Release ASIO Driver In The Background" is untapped.. in Devices --> VST Multitrack in Cubase?
yes of course I have. It all works but it plays errors. It started of with some little errors when i exported a song.
But know it plays errors constantly. It takes my pc also much longer to export a song. And it can't be my pc because it's powerfull enough. I think reason causes the problem because it works way slower than before.

Are you sure you're making a mixdown through Cubase and not through Reason?
I get this glitch too - a royal pain in the a$$. The errors and glitching that I get (during playback & rendering) are like sporadic CPU peak-outs that seem to happen with no rhyme or reason
No, it's not CPU/DMA buffer, BIOS, soundcard, or IRQ conflict - it's farkin reason/rewire. A great "THEORY" - that's the extent IMO
Solution: don't use reason, or if you simply must, then bounce out to cubase and don't run them both at the same time, or wait for someone who's knows the answer to this to post here .
I can live without reason easily but a guy I write with uses it and I end up exporting everything out and - viola! no grief....
