Been a while since I've been here but it's been 3 years since I've owned my pair of HEADPHONES...

aka...SONY v700...well, they finally cracked on me...

On the left side, it cracked where the "L" hinge is. It's a minor crack that is not really visible. The other crack is on the right side. It cracked on the piece that is near the nail. Again, this is a minor crack that is not easily seen.

I still use them.

I guess after all the negativeness about the v700 and the "breaking out of the box" comments that some people made, led him to make this thread saying "in your face...damn haters".

find like a home depot or other hardware store and ask for some of that epoxy glue stuff.. its like 4 bucks or so and its stronger than cement supposedly

See, I haven't been here in a couple years. Last time I left, people in this sub-forum were in a pointless debate about SONY vs PIONEER headphones.

The whole point is, yeah, the v700s crack after long usage.

Am I disappointed? Yes and no. Although it took me a while to "abuse" the jeepers out of 'em, the hearing quality remains.

I can't believe who one little crack will get you all into an uproar and totally defame a product. It's just a crack and things aren't meant to last forever.

Treasure your equipment while you still have 'em...
