prodj cases

hi
im thinking about getting prodj tt and mixer cases so im just wondering if anyone has them and would recommend them. do they come with lockable latches? aaand, would you go for a coffin or separate cases. its clear that separate cases are easier to transport, but when it gets to placing your gear somewhere at the party, the advantage of a coffin is that the table, or any surface underneeth does not have to be the size of the coffin, which can be usefull....im really having trouble with making decisions i think...

I have Odyssy flight cases for my tt's. I don't recommend a coffin because they are way to heavy and bulky. the flight cases are great because you can keep the tt's in them at all times. I'm not sure about cases for mixers but I just leave mine by itself.

doors...

House parties always have doors. Pop one off a hinge and you've got a surfacce for your individual cases.

Could do this but definitley go for individual cases, much easier to move around and store, and also your not limited to space when u set everything up i.e. you could set it all up in a corner

Try these in the UK, they beat any price, dont know what theyre like for shipping - link

This is where I think ill buy my cases for my mixer - link

Or try ebay - not much chance of anything being wrong with a lockable metal box other than a few scratches

Road Ready cases are the only way to go. They are the BEST.

Here's a pic of mine:

one more thing regarding the cases...are the recessed latches normaly lockable? or is it unusual that you can actually lock the thing.

Theyre all pretty much lockable, recessed normally means they are - havent come across any that arent lockable come to think of it!
