Questions to party @ Crobar (NYC)
Hello !!!
I will be in New York at the beginning of June and would like to visit the Crobar.
But as I havenīt been to the US yet, there are a few questions and I hope someone helps me with answers !!! Thx in advance !!!
1.) What kind of clothes should be weared ???
2.) I heard that in the US itīs usual that people are picked out of the line which belong best to the club ... so they can go in, not interested if they were at the end of the line ??? Is this true ???
3.) Are there any kind of things, I shouldnīt take with me to a party there ??? Like digital camera or something like that ???
4.) I hope to see Sacha and James Zabiela @ Crobar on 06/03/05, are tickets available before the event ???
Thx again !!!

Ok By chosing Crobar as your first experience in a US club, my friend, that is a wise choice. Crobar is the best club in NYC. Now to answer your questions:
1. You should look neat. Jeans are accepted with a button down shirt or a shirt with a collar. NO SNEAKERS!! Diesel & Puma style sneakers are OK and will be allowed in.
2. Crobar is not one of the clubs that will pick you off the line. What Crobar does is give women the priority of getting in first. Meaning, that if there is a group of ladies and a group of men, the ladies will be allowed in first. DOn't worry about that.
3. Crobar allows you to bring in a camera. The only types of camera not allowed in are Professional Grade Video Recorders. Standard digital cameras that have recorders in them are allowed. My friends always bring them in so I know this from experience.
4. There are advanced tickets on sale for this event. Might not be available yet. Check out www.Crobar.com and click on the link for Crobar - New York from the main page. You should be able to find information on there about the event. If there is none yet, keep checking back every so often.
There are going to be many NYTA's going to this event. There will be quite a few of us who will be on a reduced admission guestlist. I'm sure we can find you a spot on one of our guestlists.
Hope this info helps out a little.
Joey

Yeah, I cannot wait to go back to see Corsten. I got some white diesels, they will let you in with them? I was able to get in with the white nikes but these other shoes have these white straps on the outside of them. Just wish the club wasn't ALWAYS 21+. I can get in but a few friends can't and that is gonna suck for when Ferry is in town.

I agree with everything Joey said...but not about the sneakers thing..i wear ratty old school Puma's everytime.....cus they are great for dancing (glides, breaking etc) and cus i dont care if people step on them and mess them up....
I never once had a problem wearing them at Crobar....but then again maybe i am lucky.

Usually Iīm going to party in black shoes, trousers of a suit (donīt know if this is the right describtion) and a shirt ...
when I look at what you wrote, I get the feeling, that could be a bit overdressed for this club ...

don't wear suit pants man... they'd get fucked up way faster than your suit jacket, and it'd look really disgusting
