Does your home town have a local tradition or festival?

On monday 20th may, we held our annual cheese-rolling competition at coopers hill. Sounds boring, but its actually funny as hell. Random people enter and they have to chase a 9lb ball of Double gloucester cheese as fast as they can down a hill/cliff. Almost everyone gets injured and lots of people get broken bones...I'm tryin to find a video but no luck at the moment. Heres some pics...

My home town has the "Wick Gala" it's actually cool but the only pictures I could find were shit.

My Home Town of Kitchener holds one of the largest Octoberfest Celebrations.......all that lovely beer.

My current residence sucks and they do nothing....maybe I should start a tradition.

Th Ba' is an game traditionally played by Orcadian men on Chritmas and New Year's Day in Kirkwall, Orkney. It's like rugby - without rules.
