Is liking Trance an embarassment where you are???
It seems that admitting to liking (or god forbid spinning) trance here (Seattle area) is like admitting that you have lepracy.
Personally I love trance, and all electronic music honestly, and have no problem with anything anyone else enjoys. But its seems like the local pastime around here is trance bashing. Almost no one admits to liking it (or EVER liking it, even tho its the music that brought them into the electronic scene most likely).
Am I alone in this? Are other parts of the country similar?
Just for example, most of the parties around here a couple years ago were almost all trance, now you can't find one that has a trance dj on its line up. Obviously there are exceptions, but for the most part I think i'm correct, Seattle peeps speak up and let me know if i'm just blind, or if you've experienced it too.
I'd also love to know where the most "trance friendly" area of the US is, or the world for that matter.
