Oakenfold at Nation(review)

I was really shocked at what i witnessed last night, oakenfold tore the fuckin roof off, so many old school tracks and the vibe was awesome, Sandra Collins was decent but liquid todd sucked it up...anyone else go?

Oakey completely owned last night - there's a reason he's a legend!

I thought Sandra did pretty well - if anyone can ID the track she played right after getting on (after the Seven Nation Army remix), I shall <3 you very much - was an awesome female vocal track.....

Tracks I remember...

Tilt - 12 (Max Graham Remix) <---MASSIVE track live, especially on Nation's soundsystem
Hydra - Affinity
Three Drives on a Vinyl - Greece 2000
Tiesto - Traffic

And there's probably 3 or 4 more that I *KNOW* I recognized, time to start diving through the collection...

BTW Liquid Todd wasn't all that good, though I loved that he dropped Owner of a Lonely Heart (Max Graham Remix) - had a big smile all the way through that track

I didn't bother to write anything down, but I was out on the deck when I KNOW I heard:

Gabriel and Dresden - Arcadia (Swing 2 Funk Mix)

yeah, Owner of a Lonely Heart was a nice surprise - but overall, Sandra's set left something to be desired (for me, at least)

Oakey was great! Once I found room to dance it was hard to stop.

And what's the deal with chicks holding hands, leading their friend's through the crowd and then grabbing your package when they squeeze by? This happened twice, and it's not like I'm really complaining, but it's definitely weird. If a guy was doing that he'd be in jail right now, so WTF?

I was there last night and i gotta admit, he tore the place up. I was very very very in awe and practically was like WTF the whole night.

As far as making a comeback, I think he is retiring this year actually.
