What are some good Table-top CD players for under $300? As of right now I have one, its a Stanton S-250. I dont know if i should get another or something different...

hey everyone, not going to start a new thread but what are the cheapest CD/MP3 players? I ran a little search but need to narrow it down, not in to the infamous Pioneer CDJ's, need MP3 compatibility

Gemini MPX-30
Denon DN-S1000 or the S5000??

Denon S5000 is an awesome unit, however it's well out of the 300 dollar price range. I got two units for about 600 USD each off ebay, so if you're considering denon and cheapness, I'd go for the s1000.

I don't know if you want to scratch or not, but I've heard you need to press down fairly hard on the s1000s to scratch with them. Dunno about the Gemini mpx-30.

I learned on the Gemini CDj-02s, took 2 days to get beatmatching down about 3/4 of the time, about a week to 90, 95% of the time. Only thing I don't like about them is the .1% pitch resolution - .02% on the Denon S5000s is much better, but again out of the lower price range.

has anyone tried out out the cdj-200 here, I was just wondering because it looks good for a very low end setup that i might put together to try out mixing.
