You will be disappointed with anything you buy if you listen to the 5500s after making the purchase, to be honest. I think Best Buy carries them. I would buy a set myself, but my double Z-5300 setup was expensive and I like having ten speakers and two subs.

buy some Teufel Concept G 7.1 THX speakers...i had the creative megaworks before (they fucking broke and i'd have to pay shitloads of shipping to get them fixed, fuck creative) and they get blown away by them and i have the Logitech Z-5500´s in germany (bought them before buying the teufel speakers) and they also get blown away....
