Like I said, yes it is

No, just take off the original pads, remove the piece in the middle (over the "speaker"), youīll also need that for the new pads.
Put the (original) piece back in place and put the new pad on, youīll see how the original ones where attached, the new ones attach the same way.
The best is, if you do that, one pad after the other, so you can still look how itīs placed originally, but itīs really easy, something that takes maybe like 5 minutes

No offense but these aftermarket cables have no effect on sound...
This was clearly proved in a lot of abx-tests.
Also with hifi-equipment in general, thereīs no difference in sound, when using different cables.
I also tried that myself with different cd-players, recorders, minidisc, dvd, and different cables (analog chinch, digital coaxial, toslink).
I monitored them with a sony cd3k (driven by a seperate amp), and imho the whole hifi-tuning industry does sell voodoo-stuff that has a placebo-effect if any...
(and btw, I think that shrink foil on the recabled senn on the pic makes it look ugly and cheap )

I know you're gonna get flamed. Not by me though.
Anyways here's what Alex Rosner said:
| quote: | I found speaker wire cable, that costs 60 dollars per foot. They sell it so expensive, because it looks so pretty. But I promise you, if I take a lamp cord, that cost 20 cents per foot, you would not hear a difference.Ŧ

Alex Rosner made the first dj mixer, Rosie, created the first stereo sound systems in clubs, also he aided Rudy Bozak in modding the CMA-10 into a dj mixer. He also did the sound system for The Loft nightclub in the early 70s which to this day is still one of the best sounding venues in the world. Im not absolutely sure, but i think him and his company did the sound system for Madison square gardens. I trust his judgements about setups more than almost everyone else.
BTW, i once thew away close to $100 for a Monster Cable audiophile interconnect that was suppose to make lightyears of improvement in my turntable's sound quality; instead it introduced groundloops that wasn't there before with the origional cable that came with my ssl interface. BTW, the salesman allowed me to return the cable; so i bought many cheaper interconnects that i actually needed.

Fine!
My opinion is backed by listening and not by something I read on the inet, so no problem with anyone trying that

I like that guy!
They only advantage of expensive cables are golden plugs which (can) save you from corrosion (but hey, you can get these plugs for very little money and solder cables like that for much less, some gear even comes with golden plugs on the stock cables)
