I would really like to go out to a lounge or something and listen to the mellower side of idm...

Richard Devine(mellow stuff)

u should check out Gustavo Cerati, although it's in spanish and you won't understand a thing, the music itself is really good. IDM at its best imo. Plus he's my favorite producer/singer/songwriter etc!
