I need a new Mixer.. well ok, i want a new mixer...
I have a Numark 2000X it's ok, the faders are fine, but the EQs are weird and there are no kills and all that...i think it's time for an upgrade. I'm kinda on a tight budget, but what do you guys suggest?
Couple of things i'm looking in the "new" mixer..
1. Replaceable X-faders
2. Kill switches
THat's about it.. 2 channels are fine, but 3 would be cool cos eventually i'm gonna get me a CDJ.. i know i'm asking for much. But yeah, i'm sure i could up my budget somewhat....$200 for now, but we can go up somewhat...... (starts digging)
The Numark DXM series looked pretty good except that the faders don't seem to be replaceable without having to remove the entire faceplate.. hmmmmm....
THanks!

see my signature for the mixer you should buy. you may not be able to find one anymore, but these were selling for $500++ when they first came out and went down to 250 about 6 months ago when Vestax discontinued them. you can still find them new in places for around $225.

The mixer quoted. Do you record your sets from that mixer? If so, can I have a link so I can hear them? Thanks.

the sound quality can not be judged on the sets i record from it. it loses quality when the sound card processes the signal and then when it is saved as an mp3.

up your budget because if you want cdjs then you probably want top of the line stuff or somehting close to that. I suggest saving to buy something good. Take it from someone who has already bought the cheaper stuff. I love my mixer, dxm-06, but i want something better with more channels and a actual crossfader for scratching.

I also have the DXM06, its a beauty for a small bedroom deal or if you dont have much gear...unfortunatly for me im adding a 3rd CD player to my set-up and need a new mixer...so on that note im selling mine for $200 Canadian. Its a year and a half old, in perfect condition with the box.
Give me a shout/PM if interested. I think it will end up running about $200 american with shipping and all.
