Ok, I am new to djing so I don't know how to beatmatch or anything yet. I am already set on the cdj-200s and I need to know what kind of mixer to buy. I was looking to spend around $200 for a mixer (Ive been looking at the dxm06). So my question is, is it worth it to pay more for like a djm707 even though with my inexperience I won't really be able to tell the difference?

make sure you buy an extended warrenty with it. i remember when i worked at guitar center about half of those things were defective out of the box, or came back messed up within a few weeks. mostly problems with the FX processor

+1
The djm-707 is by far the best deal in good 2 channel mixers now.

well i didn't know how to beatmatch once when i started but that didn't stop me from buying mk5g's and a vestax-175. i could have gone for very beginner gear! but its all up to you. nothing wrong with either.

You can abuse the hell out of that Pioneer and it should hold up. The Numark on the other hand... well you don't want to abuse that thing. They arent making anymore 707s though because they don't like selling them at their current price point. You might want to pick one up as quickly as possible.

Hmm, good to know. I definitely don't want something that will just break down after a while. I'm thinking I'll just save up for another week or 2 and get the 707 while I can. Thanks for the help guys
