Well IMHO that qualifies you for probably having one of the coolest jobs on here
One of my old school friends flies left seat for Virgin out of JFK to LHR and my Sons Friends Dad flies LHR out of YYZ for AC , not sure if he is in the Right seat though
Did you go the flying club route or Military ??
PM response if you prefer , but I think we should have a thread again as to what we all do maybe Diabolic will come out and say what he does then as well

but hey, look at the bright side: you've got your PPL and you're able to go for a joy flight when you get the itch.. cause really, its all about being up above the clouds anyways. doing it for a living is just icing on the cake

I went to sault college for aviation technology. When I was in 2nd year the military came in and offered many a comission to the air force to fly. I thought long and hard about it, but it was a 9 year commitment and that was too long for me to deal with. So I flew up in the bush for a couple years doing everything from freight, sked runs, and medivac flying. Fun times, but I'm happy to be back home and enjoying more lifestyle here now.
