B.E.N. - Winter 2005 Update

Coming up to the end of another smashing year for me. A year which has seen me turn 18 back in October, venture out to start up my own record label, took me to play DJ sets on an international stage plus so much more! None of what I have achieved though would of been possible without the help and support which i've received from the people who follow and support what I do best and now i'd like to say a very big thank you ...you people know who you are :-)

For now though here's an update to round off what's going on in all stages of the world of B.E.N. in and around the close of 2005 ...

DJ: On the DJ side of things all is going well. My ' Total T.R.A.N.C.E. ' clubnights have gone up yet another level. At Total's resident club ' The Tube ' in Halifax (UK) the nights will go from been hosted on the first Friday of each and every month to been held each and every friday night starting in January. I'll be playing a 5 hour set each week and i'm also going to try and get some of them recorded too! We'll be working on getting some big names down there over the coming months so for now keep updated on that scene by checking out Total's website ...http://www.total-trance.com

Production: My new home studio has just been finished and this has enabled me to sit down and piece together some nice ideas both as a sole producer (B.E.N.) and combined with my dad as G-Force. As well as my own and G-Force's original productions we're also both working on some remixes for a few artists which have approched us in the past few weeks. Look out for more on these in the new year. Off my own back i'm also playing about with adding my touch to a few old Trance tracks to keep for my own playing pleasure, look out in my sets over the coming months for some ' B.E.N.'s Blast From The Past ' remixes.

Label: Total Digital Rec. is steadily going places. Tracks are signed up taking the release schedule right through to April next near! The labest release from Albatross (aka. Ayas (Bonzai Music)) has gone down really well and there's alot of hype surrounding our next release which will be the highly anticipated track from Kamil Polner ..."Paleoris". Already that track has recieved support from the likes of Ernesto vs. Bastian, Andy Bagguley, Svenson, Jochen Miller, Graham Gold, Thomas Datt + many more! Also whilst on the subject of support for our tracks, in Armin's recent ASOT the Icone remix of Krivi's "Dancing Town" was aired. This is a big boost to have one of our labels releases supported by Armin and on behalf of Krivi, Icone and Total Digital on a whole we'd like to say a big thank you to Armin for his support. Last but not least in regards to the label, our releases will soon be available to purchase on both DJ Download, DJ Mag's official download site and Karma download also ...check up on http://www.total-digital.co.uk over the coming few weeks for the developments with them two sites.
