Is there a way to fix how the tonearm automatically comes back and puts force on the arm and forces it back to the holder?

are you talking about anti-skate?
it's the little dial on the right of the tonearm, some people like to have it set to match the weight, i like it set to 0

Are you saying it doesn't stay where you put it, but swings back towards the tonearm rest? If so, try adjusting the bearing they might have tightened up a little so they are binding and pulling towards the outside. Or check your anti-skate if that isn't the problem.

Yeah, it swings back into the rest with force...enough to distort the music and you see the needle going towards the side of the stylus...it skips too.

Where's the bearing?
