Music is as universal to people as breathing. We've probably been at it since before we even started talking. Immaging two cavemen smashing away at a peace of flint to make a spearhead. It wouldn't take long for them to learn te synchronise the sound. And there you have it, the words first percussive band.
Music has survived wars, famines, the plague and many other things and has evolved with man across many cultures. Dance music is just the next step in the evolutionary chain. My guess is that it will probably be with us untill we are extinced.

i like the kick nice and tight, you should of used the same kind of compression on some of melody parts, the bass sounds a little out, good job well done

I'll have to fix that. Your right I think. I think a lot of it will be fixed when I master the track down. I'm all out of processorspeed, even een Compressor will be too much. Ill finish it off soon, some of the sequencing isn't too smoothe yet, but I'm sick of this track right now. Been spending too much time on it.
Anyway, thanks. I'v had very mixed reactions to the track up till now. Ill see how it all goes.

It's the same version as I sent you.
Ill be sending stuff off only in a few weeks when I have some more tracks going with some new techniques I learned. So you have plenty of time. Don't forget to make sure it's your best set yet.
Oh, and as far as the name Mosum is concerned. A friend told me it was a gun they used in the second world war. If it was on the German side i'll realy have to change the name. If it was on the side of the alies I think it has a cool underlying double meaning type of thing.

Well, my m8 got the inside information off Call of Duty 2. I'v got a copy of that now myself and i'v checked, it's the Mosin-Granat and was used by the Russians who where on the good side.
Hey, if you have COD2 too, dl xfire and add me 'cd1979' and ill beat you senceless :P I'm doing regular sessions with my mates, i'm thinking of giving up producing all together and devoting my life to COD2 and gaming in general.

Hey.
-Nice kick. Very punchy and it cuts through the mix well.
-Decent bass stutter, though you might try doing some stuff with a bandpass filter at the beginning. Maybe fuck with the order or it and modulate the frequency then drop out the bandpass filter somewhere and let it explode in sound.
-Nice pad coming in. Very airy.
-The vox are ok but try doing some filter with them fucking with them a lot.
-Nice low bass growl. Very driving.
-I like the vocoded (i think they are) vocals coming in through the background here.
-Where you break away from the kick and its just the bass and the vocals, try throwing a low pass filter over that and then sharply bring it back up just before the kick comes back in.
-The lead synth is ok but unlike the rest of the track, it isnt very driving. Try throwing some distortion and/or bitcrushing over it. It just feel weak against everything else.
-Outro is decent but it just ends sharply with no decay? Def re-render it with the decay .
Overall, this track has some really good drive behind it, but it falls short in the melody. It ends up being slitely boring with the melody being so weak. The potential for a kickass track is truely there but focus on making that lead as strong as you can so it cuts through everything. I'm not an advocate of using supersaws, and I'm not a overly huge fan of them, but this track would be really nice with a supersaw lead .
Grade: A (needs work on the lead and some more automation)

im sure i said you need to put some more melody into it like fictivision - symbols or armin van buuren - shivers (alex morph remix)
now you have another person telling you
