Hiya! I'm coming up to my GCSE's. (last year of school thank god!) and i've got a interview at college soon for musci technology. Because it's such a popular course at the college i need to stand out! so i've organised some work experience at apple stone music studio but what i really need is a some software to start doing my own CDs. Any suggestions on software for a 15yr old girl desperate to get to the top? lol.x.Thanks!.x

I dont get it...
You want to quickly start producing your own music overnight?
Or is it just some editing and cd burning you need to do?

music software
well if you have an Apple Mac computer..
I would say get Reason....that's a good way to go....pretty nice and gives you an idea as too how a studio works...
Apple also has this nifty program called garage band....tinker around with that....
give it a go and let us listen to what you come up with...

What exactly do you mean by software to do your own CDs? Are you a DJ do you just need recording software to record and track your mixes? If not then what do you mean?

15 year old in college? Excuse my ignorance but isn't 15 years old a bit young for college? I mean I'm sure it happens in some other countries/cultures or individuals who are really intelligent (genius), but 15 years old in college in the UK? didn't think it was that different from here in America (most people graduating from high school at 17/18 and then going off to college).

well your very young but you also have alot to learn. but being very enthusiastic will have some of the battle won. chasing a goal in music can take some time (depends what area you are wanting to go in).
best advice i can give you = MUSIC INDUSTRY IS UNSTABLE (most cases).
thats why you got to enjoy it and have plans to support this goal.
