Okay, so I have had this discussion with a few ppl, and the question is, is it weird to be naked in front of your friends? Eg, if you are having a sauna or showering after gym class?

My argument goes that it is totally natural to be naked in front of your friends in these circumstances, it's what makes sense so why not?! This is what 99.9% of the ppl in Sweden would think too. However, in other cultures (most?), it seems like this is a different thing. For example in some countries they split the shower rooms in small booths with one shower in every booth, so no one has to see someone else naked. It would be embarrassing to show your naked body to someone else in these cultures.

The argument would often too be that it would be "homosexual" to be naked in front of your friends, while I think it's the opposite - obviously if you have a problem with being naked you must have some kind of sexual attraction to ppl with the same sex since you can't be naked with them?

So, is it, or is it not?

In America, at least where I live, it is considered a bit odd to be naked amongst your peers. Personally I don't really care, I mean it's not like you're walking around excited and such.

being naked in front of your friends [i'm assuming of the same sex at least] isn't the problem. it's wheather you get a chubby from it or not.

It isn't a problem to the guy with the biggest shoe size, that's for sure.

Technically nothing wrong with being naked in front of others, one should be mature enough to handle it but society (American society at least) tells you that it's pretty much wrong to be naked in front of friends or even family members. Up to the individual though I guess, especially because someone is going to be more comfortable being naked in front of others if they are a fit person rather than someone a little on the heavy side but that again goes back to how society views/judges people.
