Re: iPod Video Question

I must once again ask the great fountain of knowledge known as the CORe for guidance...
When I put longer movies on my iPod, after 40 minutes or so, the audio falls way behind the video, which makes for a retardedly annoying viewing experience...
Does anybody else have this problem, or have any idea how to fix it? |
Its a rare problem found in some badly encoded videos, whatever your using, or wherever your downloading from, STOP, as it clearly sucks.
Heres a suggestion, return the crappy ipod as it doesnt play divx files, and get something that does. Here ill make it easier for you:

DVD movies are encoded @ 720x480 (i think, more or less horizontally anyway) the Zen has a resolution output of 640x480. Slightly less, but very respectable, especially for a product of its size and other crammed features. dont take my word on THIS tho: i think it wont matter, 480 is actually the width for DVD movies, and, you still get the black bars in almost every case, because of widescreen, with that being said, 640x480 is JUST FINE for DVD quality output
