time sigs in reason

this is a concern for people who like to get a little more experimental with their music (not just 4/4 trance bullshit). i used to use fruity loops a long time ago, and it was nice. i switched to a mac, so i had to start using reason. it is nice, and certain things are better in reason, and vice cersa with fruity loops. the major probelm that i have with reason, that isnt a problem with fruity loops is that i cannot change time signatures within a song. in fruity loops, i could make one bar with 4/4 time, and the next bar in 7/8 time (or whatever i wanted). it seems to me that this cannot be done in reason by itself. (sure, i can justmake one bar in 4/4, then export it, and then make another bar in 5/4, and export it, and put it together in some other program, but it is much much more convenient to be able to do it all in reason. is this possible? is it osmething that was improved in version 3? if not, then for this reason alone, i prefer fruity loops (and any real composer should).

I couldn't tell you exactly, but I'm almost certain there's a way. Take a look at this tell me if it helps.

im just saying, that if one is striving to be an adventurous or experiemental composer (rather than just a trance producer (which really isnt at the pinacle of musical creativity)), then one would prefer a program that allows you to change time signatures in one song. if all you want to make is pop music (trance, rock, hip hop, country, etc), then this is not a concern. this is a problem if you want to make jazz, classical, or experiemental avant garde music, though.

I think you could use rewire for that...

just rewire reason with your favourite sequencer and...then you can easily change the time signature inside your sequencer...and Reason will "hopefully" adapt to it
