Sinnica Hax - Eraser [Trance]

Hello all!

I've worked my ass off the last days with a new track, "Eraser".
It is a 9:11 minutes long track with a driving buildup of darker propotions that is maintained throughout the whole track.
It's basicly finished, but I still want it to go through the TA calibration system(tm), that is you guys

You can find it at a direct URL HERE it's 12.9MB but dont worry, the host (should ) be very fast for most

Thanks in advance
/F

Hi Fredrik!
This is a really nice tune! Though it could need some work.
The composition and melodies are great! I really like that guitar and piano.

The kick is to loud.
The buildup is to long in my opinion, after 3:20 it starts to happening stuff. You could have introduced that earlier I think...
You've got a very nice bassline.
The guitar is a bit high in frequencies. (what synth made the guitar?)
That filtered synth after 6:33 is great.
Good percs...

I really hope that you work some more on this, because it is very good...

Keep it up!

//Alexander

Thanks for the input Alex
I shortened the buildup somewhat so where you said (3:20), now happens at about 2:20 instead and fits better, thanks again
the guitar is a bitch though (Hypersonic btw) I'll have to do some major work not to make it sound too bright at higher tones, but I certainly agree with you on that point so it will be fixed

Lovely atmos at the beggining of the track, the pads in the intro are very nice. I like how the bassline starts although I think 2 mins is a little long until the main bassline pattern begins.
Having said that it builds very nicely, maybe missing some elements to give the track some more drive, like a nice acid lind and maybe a counter bassline.
Some more fx like swirls, whooshes etc wouldnt go a miss either i think.
It has a lot of potential, the main thing imo is to add some more parts, fill the track out and gove it some more energy.

Thanks alot for the input guys, yeah its mostly finishing stuff left to do now, but I'm still thinking of how to make that guitar less "bright" at the higher notes.

definatly agree on adding more FX, activa, gonna dig around and see what I come up with that may be appropiate for the song as I posted before, I have changed some in the buildup, so the last two hihat elements come earlier, so all the drum elements comes at around 2:20, will upload a clip of that later, as soon as I have overcome the minor issue with the guitar.

Big thanks dj_palm, I completly agree with you that some might find it repetive but I most certainly dont either, personally I think the song has a good balance, by the way there is a lower bass there too, only coming up each 12th beat or how to say, perhaps I should add so it comes every 8th a little bit into the song during the buildup!

Many thanks again

The kick sounds much better now.
It all sounds really good!
Seems like the TA calibration system worked
Maybe try adding a deesser or try some eq'ing on the guitar.

Again a really great track. Love it

The guitar sounds good in the break, but when the beat comes in it looses all its power...
Sorry to be hard on you, but I want this to be perfect Its a great track!
