Hey, cant complain at this not being minimal! It doesn't build to anything or do anything though. Wheres the emotion/feelings? The sounds are fine but there really needs to be a lot more there to interest people - bassline, percussion etc. The sounds dont change, use fx on them to make them sound a bit different, some delays, reverbs, filters, flangers etc. They can be used to fill up the gaps even if you may not feel like adding much else.
Saying all this though, this could be VERY experimental and in this case I have no reason to comment but I think what i've said is what you need to the whole.
A minimal track of mine is in the forum if you want to check it out too.
And welcome to the board.

Wow, you meant it when you said minimal.
You create a nifty groove. You have my compliments on that.
Can't really say much, although I suppose there's not much to say, is there...

This is actually kinda cool. I found the simple repetition to be quite hypnotic actually. Sort of like intelligent minimal music or something. I think some simple cold pads to add a bit of atmosphere would help it.

the stabs (or whatever they are) sound like they are a bit to speedy and comes in ½ a sec to early imo..
anywho, this track would be a great minimal-set opener. i'd add a deep bass, if i were you.
otherwise, minimal is the shit, and this is VERY minimal. good job, keep em coming!
haha btw! that reminds me of this: richie ricardo magda, pt 10. it's a site called ubercoolische.com. they have this mock-comics of magda, richie hawtin and ricardo villalobos (some times sven väth comes to visit too). very funny stuff, especially if you like their music/style

Ok a bit too minimal, but this would make a trippin' Drum & Bass tune if you made a nice 170BPM jungle beat to go with it!

Thanks for the comments.I knew id get a range of different opinions with this one.Its a very weird track indeed, different...which is what i set off to do really so ive accomplished one thing.Alot of the shakers you hear where created by myself just messing about with the up and down leaver on my computer chair!.I never started off trying to do a minimal, i had only just started using cubase! This was just an attempt to get use to arranging and the track turned out to be really different so i just wanted to see what the board is like aswell, i appreciate people with open minds...tht make fair true comments with advice.I appreciate the comments and have took note for future productions
Now go hit some pots and pans and call it minimal

Right on. I can totally see this being sick in jungle form.
