Hi,

For beginning producers it is maybe better to start with fl-studio. It is pretty simple to learn and you can create a nice sound with it. If you want a more professional program use Cubase or Logic. Both programs are great for creating that pro sound that professional producers come up with but are a bit more tricky to learn.

you should have asked jeeves.

i recommend whatever the other guys said. tryout fl studio and see how it is. thats just a taste of what you can do. if you dont like it leave the job to the experts and purchase their work. if you like it then you can move on the way you want. software/hardware synths and all that depending on your taste

You ask popular producers to do tracks for you and then you pay them.

Don't agree with that Romi at all...If you think that by buying software like Cubase and Logic it will make you a better producer then I think you are very naive.
Don't let your personal preferences in software get in the way of the fact that it is the person behind the music, not the software.
And I don't understand this whole 'moving on' thing as well...

get an all in one package like fl or reason. maybe get a shareware first to see if its for you...

logic and cubase are great. i have cubase and find it easier than reason and fl studio cos i learned on it... however i think it comes accross as a lot more complex.

but you need to buy your own sound sources with logic and cubase..

fl and reason come with synths and drum machines so you can start straight away..

buy a cheap midi controller keyboard aswell.
