I want to go but I totally do NOT trust twisted. Something is almost guaranteed to go wrong be it their fault or not. And after there oversold spooky left a 1000+ people outside. I don't know these twisted people but I really don't think they care to much about the people and music, just money. I don't want to bash people it's not my style but that's my opinion.
I love the Plaza too, but best venue? I hate when the sun comes up and see every body all fucked up. It's just something I don't like to see.

Ya Twisted has been fucking for the last little while but just remember that for close to 3 years solid they were the most reliable company in Vancouver. For 2 years like every twisted party i went to just kicked ass.
People getting left outside is nothing new, and pretty much every time its not the promoters fault. The fire Marshell has the authority to look inside and say "Thats to much" and stop the rest of the people in line from going in. Tahts what happend at Exerts Imix party, and twisted 2001.

Actually at iMix there were counterfeit tix on sale. Hell I even saw some Vietnamese lady with a box of VIP tix for $80. The funny thing was is they were wrist bands and there were no wrist bands at that party. Genesis security didn't give a shit they saw something that looked like a ticket and let people in.
As for Spooky there were no conterfeit tix to speak of. The problem was they sold like 4000 tix but had a guest list of close to 2000. So the fire marshell closed the doors. Capacity is 4700. I heard this straight from PNE security. So in this situation they fucked over people. As for twisted2001, I have no idea there could have been counterfeit tix there. I just don't want to go to a party and worry if I am going to get in or is the headliner going to show. I will not spend money on a twisted event again.

Ahhhh the age old dilemma: Vibe .VS. Music.
I buy plaza tickets for the music and nothing else. Personaly ill be with a group of like 15 of my closest friends so the vibe will be just fine for us.

man at small partys i get soooooo bored. The last three small partys i went to we got to the venue at like midnight and left at between 4 and 5. I like being able to walk around and no bump into the same people every 30 seconds.

yea, tho you could do the alternative that i like to do and thats just go to a club... id much rather go see tiesto or pvd in a club (which i did) than at a huge party. |
Ya but unfortuatly the big name DJs never come to clubs on weekends only weeknights. It really sucks when you have to wake up at 4:30 to get to work in the morning.
