Listen man, you have the worst piece of mixer ever made, and its not really made for dj's, in my college they have one at every classroom from the exact mixer you have, im not sure wut the school use them for, but i know its not for a dj to use. if you can afford those cd players then you could afford a better mixer, trust me in this, buy a new mixer, maybe one with effects, play around with it and youll change your mind. but please put your mixer in a garbage, dont even try to sell it.
on the other hand, a lot of people here would be happy to purchase your stuff, including me. Holla

Don't give up...
I've got 2 SL-1200MK...TTs, i practice whenever i have time, i hope to play for some parties down the road, but being in a state where kids only listen to stupid music...not much of an opportunity...
ANYWAY.....my word to you is DON'T GIVE UP....keep working at it... it takes time fer sure, i can hear the improvement with each passing mix... someday your day will come too....
**I still need more practice...i can't seem to mix tracks that don't start with a bassline...grRRrrR

i dont suggest you give up at all. maybe you have to but i dont suggest that.
everyone gets to the certain time in their life when they feel hopeless and feel down about what they do. i hated djing when i adjusted my gear to the cdj200 just cause it was so annoying to play around with the joggle and get it perfectly beatmatching.
when you get used to the stuff you use and do and notice improvement, thats when you feel like playing more. if you dont feel like playing after all that then it means you arent that into it. the hardest part for me now is to find tracks i like and keep up with the music and i think thats really impossible if you arent fully committed to it.
