since im too lazy to type again, im going to copy my review from the defstar page
My Review..FERRY ROCKED! Id say he blew Tiesto out of the water..the vibe in the palace, wasnt great, but it was good enuf to make sure that anybody high, drunk or sober was gonna have the fuckin time of their life.
Mark Oliver amazed me yet again. He proved that his skills are so versatile, and he did EXACTLY what I think an opening DJ should..warm the crowd up, get their juices flowing, get them moving, then pass it on to the headliner.---THO I was quite confused to come in and hear pink Floyd, and then to hear Kylie Minogue later on...oh well, variety is the spice of life!
Then on Comes DA MAN, Ferry Corsten. He got a huge cheer from all of us trance lovers...and he pleases each and every one of us. From me with the sky writer saying SYSTEM F and his point and nod, to his applauding the guy on the third balcony going nuts. Ferry played to us, and we responded. Id say the lowest energy point of the whole night was when he dropped 'the house of god', or whatever that song is called. But then how he brought the energy back up showed his skills. He played *and im certain of it*
Art of Trance - Madagascar
System F - Exhale
System F - Out of the Blue
and I KNOW there were more tracks I IDed as I plowed my way thru the packed dance floor. Packed, but JUST to my liking..enuf room to dance, but crowded enuf to make it cozy.
ah yes..The eternal..he played that also..others are just escaping my head at the moment *this exact moment is 3:22 AM the morning of*
Big Thanks go to Keith, Ferry, his management team, and somebody I think we've all been forgetting. Benson and Hedges..these guys seem to be @ every event these days, and I dont mind @ all. We get hotties selling smokes that I dont buy, cheap assed ticket prices for premium events, its just a good deal all around! Whoever is behind this 'Gold Club Series' Deserves a BIG thank you for their part in all these events...so onto the pics..I got TONNES..in fact 100+, im in the process of Uploading to my puter, and then i will Upload to my webpage..they will end up in Keiths hand just after Love and emotion 2.
My high point of the night..being told my Ferry to come into the booth, cuz thats where I was gonna get the best pictures from. He asked how my night was, said his was going amazing..we shook hands, I snapped some pics and then left exstatic that I had just talked to ferry in the middle of a mix!!! WOOHOO! got a pic, an autograph..soo those will all be up VERY soon.
score for the event 9.95/10. only improvement possible were that damn blown bass bin. That was a fuckin annoyance--->for those who didnt notice, Ferry cranked it so loud that I think 2 of the speakers blew.(it might only have been 1) on every bass hit, they would crackle and sound horrible..But it cleared the area and made for great dancing space!!!!
AMAZING NIGHT

Fuckin' Unreal
That set is the best music ive heard since Europe! That set kicked the shit out of PVD seattle and the crowd was ten times wilder too. The track selection was unbeleivibly great. The Legacy, Sunrise at Palamos, DRIFTING AWAY..... It made my fuckin head pop. Ferry was at the warehouse after and wanted to keep playing doing a tag team set with Mark Oliver....WOW, that would have made my year. Anybody who hasn't seen Ferry, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, in my mind the best show Ive seen on this contenant. And what a fucking great guy. I talked with him for a while and he is so fuckin' cool. When I was talking to him it seemed like he was so interested in what I had to say and was sincere in his replys. I must see him spin again very soon!
btw, Can't wait till the pictures are out!, me, tuss and sweds are going for wings with Ferry tonight, it should be sweet.
