What to do in Orlando Miami?

Hey..
I'm invading Orlando (May 14-18) and Miami (May 19-22) from the great white north!
Looking for any suggestions on things to do - especially in Miami. Doesn't look there are many events posted yet? I'm staying in South Beach area - looking for clubs and places to check out. Beaches and Scuba Diving recommendations. And any other info you can throw my way
Also wondering if it is worth my time to go to Space on either the 19th or 20th and how much a taxi will cost from south beach area.

Cheers and Thanks in advanced!

You can check out this sticky:

or listen to me:

Clubs
Downtown Orlando is full of clubs so if you're looking to dance then that is your destination. Of course don't expect any EDM. Just to name a few there are Roxy's, Club Tabu, Firestone (I think?), Antigua, Icon, and so much more. It's usually Hip-Hop, RnB, and Reggaeton at least where I go, lol.

Univsersal City Walk also has clubs aside from their theme parks. It's free parking too afer 6PM!

Tourism
South Orlando has a street called International Drive. That's where all the tourists go to sightsee. It's full of hotels, shop boutiques, one mall and theatre, bowling center, miniature golf, minor attractions, and so forth. If you want to see the lights then go at night.

Theme Parks
Disney World - From first hand experience this is mostly for kids under 10. It's really boring if you're a young adult to old geezer.

Universal Studios - This is your better option. Almost all the rides are great and it's really a fun time.

Sea World - If you like creatures from the sea and stuff then you might want to hit this park. This is the home of Shamu the whale (not the original whale because he died). It also has rides like a rollercoaster, a water ride, and similar things.

Malls
Millenia Mall - Most expensive and mostly for upper class to rich people, but I still go there to sightsee, lol.

Fashion Square Mall - Also beautiful and very big. Try not to get lost in this mall.

Florida Mall - Another big mall. Very sophisticated and great department stores. Lots of variety.

West Oaks Mall - You get the best deals at this mall. It's not cheap either but this is the only mall with a theatre. That's where a lot of the young kids go to.

I can't think of anything else at the moment, but if you have more questions ask me and I'll try to answer.

Rhythm & Flow and Zinc are pretty fun in o-town. Definately go to Sky 60, it's a patio looking over downtown Orlando and usually have a Dj spinning there. I believe Nic Fancuilli is going to be at Space in Miami with Buick Project May 14, definately worth checking out.

Thanks stevieboy
I'm in Orlando for a conference and get a free night at Disney but I am hoping I can get to Universal Studios as well. I'm staying near the Orange County Convention Centre. What is public transport like to get to downtown Orlando, Universal, etc like. How late does it run?

Rothchild - Can't make it down to Miami until the 19th unfortunately

I don't really use the public transit system, it's called Lynx, I'm sure you can find it doing a quick web search. There are cabs everywhere. It might kind of expensive taking a cab from Disney to downtown Orlando, its about 20 minutes or so depending on traffic.

rent a car, drive to tampa, ill take you to busch gardens with me, get drunk and ride rollercoasters with me, then we can drink some more and go to ybor, drink some more and party, bang some tampa sluts, drink more, drink even more, drop me off in my front yard (ill be okay layin out there i just gotta sober up enough to use my doorkey), get on I-4 and drive back to orlando.

yeh, rhythm & flow and zinc bar on thurs, fri and sat. good friend of mine dj knightlife spins at r&f mostly house, progressive house and a little bit of trance. zinc bar is both house and trance on thursdays and quality house (none of that stale, sleep-inducing crap) on fri and sat. oh and sky 60 on fridays is worth checking out as well.
