My first time out in about 5 months. I've never seen a crobar line move as efficiently as it did yesterday, so thumbs up to that (arrived at 1:20, in at 1:35). i thought Satoshi delivered yesterday. Sasha played a pretty sick hour before being replaced by Lavelle. Lavelle on his own is fantastic, bus his musical style doesn't fit into what sasha was working to build. Lavelle was a pleasant surprise last night and i actually enjoyed it. i stayed til only about 4:15 but it was a good time nonetheless. hope everyone else had a great time.

there was barely any rain in the city, at least till about midnight, thats when I got into crobar.
Satoshi was by far the best of the night. I was disapointed that Sasha played such a short set, and also that by the time he started playing you could barely move. Lavelle did quite a sudden change from what both Satoshi and Sasha had been playing. It was kinda abrupt but refreshing, for a while. i left around 5, i just got tired of not being really able to dance, or get hit every 5 min while trying to get into the music.

lavelle was horrific. awful music and multiple trainwrecks. i really hated that sasha let him play the main hours of the night.... he better not fucking do anything more than opening in dc tonight. UGH!!!!!!!!!! wasted precious hours.
although, when sasha played from 5-7 he fucking pounded it with a full-on set with lots of nostalgic hints.... and i never thought i'd see the day.... XPANDER (over a new bassline)

well we started out to the movies around 9:30...and the rain escalated with every passing minute...when we arrived 10 minutes later the parking lot was almost *flooded* (like at LEAST 2 inches on the ground) and it was coming down HARD!!! luckily by the time we left the show (12:30) it had ended...
well anyway im surprised to hear that sasha did not get the majority of the night...interesting...has that ever happened in previous shows?

Sasha probably got off early because his computer wasn't working properly. Wouldn't make any sense to resort back to cd's or vinyl.

Satoshi was great. His track selection had that old quality sound to it. Sasha gets on around 2 somthing and delivered an amazing fucking set. He actually dropped this song which was a about 7 years old [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
. Very hot track. JL gets on after sasha and was very good also. Then Sasha gets back to fucking with our minds for the rest of the night. I haven't heard him like this since Space in miami.
... This was the kind of party that you hate to miss
Sidenote... Did anyone see that guy get his head smashed open around 3?(tom got pics)
ps. The crowd was perfect. Alot of kids but they were all behaving.

I had a great night out in NYC Good seeing everyone...
Sasha was pretty fun as usual...didnt get to stay as long as I wanted as my friends brought me over to Love afterhours around 545 and I had a blast there as well...
Anyway James LaVelle I didn't really care for....trainwrecks galore + shitty track selections/awful flow+ even stopping the music completely to bring in a track that totally didnt fit at all with the other tracks in Underworld - Dark and Long (Dark Train Mix).
Satoshi wasn't bad...he was dropping some nice bombs when I walked into the room but wasnt as impressive as his boston showing last december...
Trainspots:
Satoshi Tomiie:
Hugg and Pepp - Snabein
James LaVelle:
Coburn - We Have the Technology
Underworld - Dark and Long (Dark Train)
Sasha:
Lostep - Burma (Sasha Remix)
I hope to come back to the city soon and I will definitely be at Love again as well Time to pass out finally at 230 pm lol
