how are you to do it? i thought after 400 posts you could give yourself a title, and i looked everywhere in the profile section and i swear it's not there

maybe the number has been bumped up. i don't know though. its definitely in the profile section so if you don't see it there, it probably means you haven't met the (new) requirements.

It's not changed, its still 400 posts to be able to do a custom status

Hit the Profile button at top right of screen
then hit the Edit Profile tab
then about halfway down u will see
Custom User Text
thats where u change the status

on top of that.. whenever i am logged in, the "forum jump" drop down boxes do not work for me (if i'm logged out they work) when i'm logged in all that is in there is this:

hmm...that sounds familiar. i think someone once had the same problem with the custom text before. he just reached 400 but couldn't change it. i forgot how he fixed it though.

I've had this problem since I registered with this name. When my name used to be "Essential1" all that stuff worked. It's such a pain in the ass to have to go back to the top of the page to change forums.

...as for the Forum Jump problem - I can't duplicate that, this is weird.. it has nothing to do with your user level/ID or anything, it's the same for everyone.. hmm..
