Ok, got into trance sometime before y2k but then my impression was that it was getting way too cheesy for my tastes , so I totally switched to house.And I still listen to funky house today , but recently a friend gave me a dvd full of all kinds of hard/cheesy stuff and 1 good thing: a folder with something labeled "Paul Van Dyk".I got hooked instantly and frankly I was surprised something like that still existed.

So now that I'm totally into it I'm hungry for more.

If you could point out any good ( old or new ) uplifting /proggressive songs I'd appreciate it greatly.

As far as I'm concerned no house music can be more cheesier than cheesy trance.

I asked for good uplifting/epic ( which are the same ) and progressive song suggestions.

heh...pvd has that effect...

but just fyi in my opinion since the late 90's trance has become very serious and has developed very far. i think you might like a lot of the tech-trance or proggy thats out there these days...just a feeling...check it out bro.
