I've heard a lot about these cans lately, and considering purchasing some, although I can't find anywhere to try them out. For those that have tried the Sony V6's and Sennheiser HD25, HD280, etc, how do the Ultrasones compare?

The sound is equal to the HD-25s. Blow everything else away. I have the DJ-1 Pros, Keep in mind that they cover your entire ear. Most people aren't used to that. Because of that, isolation is awesome, but they're huge.

I own a pair of the DJ1 pros from Ultrasone and love em. they are comfortable and have an amazing sound to them, especially in the low end. One draw back like Trogdor said is they are bulky. The only headphone that Ive heard that I feel is simular in tone and sound quality are the AKG k 240s and 270s. Two great sounding headphones.

I've tried all kinds of cans. These sound very very good but are way too big for my liking. Plus the ear pads sometimes come off when I'm mixing. So far my favs are HD-25s and Sony MDR-7506.
