Anybody have any video tutorials of how to beatmatch perfect with this software? It always seems to fall off beat when I have it on beat ?? I just hope isn't any of my hardware (mixer/turntables)

this may be a redundant question but it never hurts to ask...did you invest in serato before or after you learned how to beatmatch? if youve just started mixing then just know that it takes a while to get it down to an exact science...practice practice practice...i dont use serato so perhaps some of the experts around here can help you out if its the software thats giving you trouble

Serato is easy as fuck to use... i never heard of anyone having problems beatmatching on serato... you can beatmatch w/out even using your ears or hearing the tracks! of course they're gonna drift a little, just ride the pitch or do whatever you usually do to keep your beats matched.

I take it you are a beginner, well the problem lies with you, and the only way to solve it is practice, using Serato is EXACTLY like using a record, and beatmatching is even easier as you can see the waveforms as well, if you are not a beginner, then I would say its a shitty MP3 with a fluctuated recording.

I just hope it's not any of my hardware, i did buy my TT's used. Yeah it stays on beat for like 4 seconds and drifts off, i guess ill have to practice more n more

Dont touch the record or platter to beatmatch, only use the pitch. Once you get good at that your beats shouldn't drift.

I should only touch to queue it right? ...and thanks for the advice

load same songs onto 2 decks. Make pitch 0 on both decks. Start them at same time. If they drift then it must be your hardware. But like everyone said its probably your skill (2 tracks not exactly beatmatched)

with both pitches at zero, there will still be some drift... if you're doing a long mix or smthn...

nothing at all, i was responding to the post before mine about setting both pitches at 0 and seeing if they drift. i said if the pitches are both at zero, there will still be some drift...
