Underworld broadcasting live from COCOON in Germany RIGHT NOW

http://www.underworldlive.com

Sven Vath was on earlier, now Underworld's just starting. Live broadcast from Cocoon, pretty damn good so far. Just thought I'd share this from over on the West Coast forum, in case people didn't notice it.

apparently the recording of both the video and the audio will become available on underworld's website sometime in the future.

if not, someone on the west coast board claims to have an inside connection, and promises to deliver the set.

it was INCREDIBLE. Sven Vath was solid, Underworld was class. I went nuts when they played Born Slippy, and the rest of it was great. As for what I recognized, they played something that sounded like a remix of Guy Gerber - Stoppage Time, something that sounded like Dirk Technic - I Love You, and the rest of it I'm sure is pretty easily identifiable because it was standard Underworld awesomeness.

I'll post links as soon as I get them myself, don't worry, I won't leave you hanging more than necessary.

Nice, i missed it. I know Sven just released a compilation for Cocoon which has two cd's of the tunes he played out in Ibiza. Worth a look...

A friend of mine in Bs As will see them perform live at Creamfields alongside Troy Pierce, Matthew Dear and M.A.N.D.Y.

that's more Richie Hawtin hair than Sven Vath hair, no?

I actually saw Sven Vath live at Fabric, London last year. It was my first exposure to real "techno" in a club setting, and he did not disappoint. In fact, it's a large part of why I like the stuff now.
